I have one episode left in S2, the finale obviously, but my god I can’t sing enough praises about how this season has gripped me. S1 was definitely great in its own right but the tension I have felt in this last stretch of episodes in S2 is just remarkable. One Way Out was amazing as everyone knows, but to follow that up with an episode as tense as Welcome to the Rebellion and then the two after, everything has just been chefs kiss.
The writing, the acting, the set designs and costumes, the CGI, the sound design, everything has been 11/10 for me.
That’s also not to mention the 12 episode season instead of 10 or 8, no wasted scenes or forced drama imo, tragic and compelling writing, monologues, 3 episodes at a time being released, they just did it all right.
I’ve never delved into any Star Wars outside of Andor and it is something special how I can just feel the power of the Empire through this show without knowing anything about it really.
