I remember like it was yesterday my first Clemson game was 2015 against Wake Forest on the way to the national championship game. I enrolled in Clemson the next year. Seeing us win two national championships during my 4 years there was life changing and I always thought about what life would be like once the run was over. I was in denial after the 2021 season because we still won 10 games. I think we (Clemson fans) knew this was coming but it’s worse when it’s on national TV and it’s the only thing the CFB world is talking about it.
My question is, what was the game that you knew when your program was no longer at the top anymore? I know for Clemson this has been a death by a thousand cuts but last night really puts it all in perspective.
