I know we're all pretty sick of hearing high taxes, gun control, universal health care, lockdowns, and your privacy being thrown out the window are "the cost of living in a society", so i feel like we should flip that on its head.
Tax avoidance; letting the old and risk-takers die of COVID but the rest of us living normal lives again, just like we do with the flu; gun ownership; etc. are just the cost of living in a society. Deal with it. Please let your leftist friends know of this new-found rule of life. Unless they don't want to live in society; then, please refer them to life in Somalia.
