When I was in my 20s, I was quite slim and pretty. I received male attention and clothes and make up looked nice on me. I’m in my thirties now and I’m struggling with ageing.
My metabolism has slowed down so I’ve put on weight, and I think what’s most difficult is that due to my body shape no clothes look nice on me, I can’t find a haircut that looks nice on me, I have wrinkles, I don’t feel as attractive as I once did. I’m just at a loss.
I’m not overweight, it’s just that I look… frumpy. Even in nice trendy clothes.
I know beauty isn’t everything, but I am struggling with the loss of my youth. I have friends in their twenties and they’re so beautiful and fresh faced and I feel terrible in comparison.
I’d love to hear your perspectives, or how you’re coping with the ageing process?
