I am looking at the 1921 Buffalo All-Americans and listing who I believe is the MVP of every victory, because work is incredibly slow today.
Week 1 vs. Hammond Pros 17-0: Elmer Oliphant 1 Rushing TD, 1 FG (38 yards), 2/2 extra points, several punts. Oliphant also attempted (but missed) a 55 yard fair catch kick, though this goes unmentioned on the Wikipedia page.
Week 2 vs. Columbus Panhandles 38-0: Ockie Anderson 3 Rushing TD (25 yd, 10 yd, ??yd), his 25 yard rush coming on “the old fake pass” (QB Draw?). He made “Several pretty throws”, multiple receptions, and at least 1 punt return. Hell of a name too.
Week 3 vs. New York (Brickley) Giants 55-0: Elmer Oliphant 2 Passing TD, 6 XP, 2 FG (one a 32 yd fair catch kick). As an aside, the Buffalo newswriters absolutely ripped into Brickley, “the bald-headed, overweight leader of the visitors”, and his team for their poor performance.
Week 4 vs. Rochester Jeffersons 28-0: Ockie Anderson 1 Rushing TD (15 yds), 1 Passing TD, multiple “handsome” returns.
Week 5 vs. Detroit Tigers 21-0: Johnny Scott, 1 Passing TD (20 yds), 1 Receiving TD, a 35 yard reception to get into scoring position, and “played a strong game especially on the defensive”.
Week 6 vs. Cleveland Tigers 10-6: Lud Wray, who recovered a fumbled punt and ran 25 yards to put Buffalo in goal position for their only TD.
Week 9 at Chicago Staleys 7-6: Tommy Hughitt 1 Passing TD (~40 yds), 1 XP. He also had a 30 yard pass which did not score.
Week 10 vs. Dayton Triangles 7-0: Ockie Anderson 45 yard TD. Made a game-saving tackle on the last play of the game, downing a Triangle at the 3 yard line after a long run.
Week 11 vs. Akron Pros 14-0: Elmer Oliphant 1 Passing TD, 2 XP, multiple long punts. 1 missed FG (42 yds). Somehow made an 80 yard rush to the 2 yard line after recovering a snap that flew over his head on a 4th down punt attempt.
