I still moonlight as a lifeguard for extra cash, and awhile back we had an older gentleman remark to me that myself and my colleagues need to smile more and we look miserable. I explained we’re all concentrating on our job. He made a few more comments and I walked on. I’ve told other coworkers what this man said and now all, including the men walk past this guy at least once with the most deranged looking smile on their face… think the creepiest smile possible with eyes bulging. This customer now avoids me and gives me the most sour looks. Maybe I should say he should smile and look like he’s enjoying the facilities.
