What is it these days with these directors? Does no one has pride anymore in their work except for a very few people? all these expensive tv series like Penguin, last of us all have the shaky cam decease.

10 freaking years go when the first Daredevil show hit netflix, they understood the assignment. Try to create a great show with as good as possible viewing experience.

To make sure that i was right, i actually checked the one shot fight scene on youtube. which you can find below from 10 years ago!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=B66feInucFY

as you can see from the above link, it looks fantastic. 0 shaky cam and trying to give the viewer the best experience possible.

and what do we get with daredevil reborn. Shaky cam. Why? that 1 shot with bullseye completely destroyed, not to mention the horrible editing in between. that fight scene with the white tiger looks so bad. You can watch a 70s kung fu movie which has better Fight cinematography then this. Jacky chan has explained this countless times how they shoot those fight scenes, but apparently that goes completely over the head of these people.

and if it was only that scene i could get past it, but no almost every freaking scene has has shaky cam. even when they sit at the bar and talk. the camera goes up and down, left to right etc. 0 care about quality. why not make the whole screen black when matt talks to give u the immersion feeling of how it feels to be blind? at least then i could respect it, because i prefer a complete black screen over this shaky cam shit.

and the weird part is, that there are actual scenes that do not have shaky cam in it. for example when Vanessa sits at the table with kingpin and they let the scene breathe it looks fantastic.

And maybe it is strange for these directors, but these actors can hold more then 1 line in their head, before you need to switch screens again and again. Some parts in this series are cut like someone who works on MTV video clips. they say one sentence and it goes to the next face, then someone else says something and it switches over again. it is so tiresome to watch! just put the camera more behind and let the actors do their work! imagine you are tired come from work and just want to relax and want to watch something that is easy on the eyes! then you get this garbage!

You would expect when Disney took over, they would try to make an even better looking Daredevil series, that challenges Netflix, but instead of going forward we are going backwards. Somehow everything is more expensive and looks worse. just how and why?

also could someone explain at the last episode when you jump out of a building, how do you land 30+ meters further on a car? did falcon swoop in and drop them there? what the hell is this? did i miss a basic understanding of gravity?
