First of all, let me give a spoiler warning as this post will be about the first two seasons of the show (only those) as basically what I wanted to do was offer my views on the show because I was almost finished with the third season, and I have really become attached to the show.
For starters, it’s fascinating how much happens in the show as what I mean is that even though each season is roughly 10 episodes long, the plot unfolds in such an amazing way as the main characters themselves are a bunch of criminals who steal money from a big bank, but it’s the payoff that makes it worth watching. What I mean is that they all have sympathetic traits that make it easy for the viewer to want to support them.
For instance, the Professor himself comes off as a genius with a plan as he sets up a plan by organizing a bunch of rules for how to conduct a successful heist as he makes sure that everyone comes out alive by avoiding direct conflict with police as much as possible through the classroom segments.
Secondly, the antagonists themselves are set up in ways that make them an interesting source of conflict as one of my favorite characters is Raquel Murillo, a woman who is down on her luck as later on it’s revealed that she is a divorced mother who is trying to capture the Professor because he is the most wanted criminal in Spain, but as the show progresses, the two slowly form a bond.
If that didn’t come out right for some reason, I apologize as I was just trying to show my appreciation for the show itself as it’s a bit difficult to explain for those who haven’t seen the series, but it’s the kind of show that really grows on you the more you watch it as something about the characters such as Tokyo and Rio come off as really charming characters that despite their criminal nature, you really want to see them succeed in the end, and that’s the aspect of the show that I really enjoy the most because like I said earlier, the thieves themselves have strong sympathetic traits to them.
And lastly, I would like to mention the hostages as later on, the viewers see the show from the hostages point of view as take Monica for instance where she is initially portrayed as being in distress from having to be a hostage of the bank as her life is hectic because she is pregnant on top of being trapped in the place where she works. However, she eventually falls in love with Moscow’s son, and decides to join the main crew after realizing how much fun she is having with the criminal lifestyle.
If my post didn’t come out right, I apologize as I have a writing condition, and basically I was just trying to write a long post about how much I appreciate the show Money Heist because I found many positive aspects about the show, so again if my post came out wrong looking, I apologize as I don’t mean any harm.
