I saw some complaints online about the pacing and how the seasons resolves and what gets revealed, and was kinda anxious as I was watching waiting for the shoe to drop… but it never happened.

Whole season was overall great. There were a few odd-ish character choices and tangents here and there, but overall it was a delight. It’s one of the few TV shows I can recall that can both regularly make me actually sit there and go “Wtf is this show” and provide a unique experience with incredibly engaging visuals, atmosphere and style.

The finale in particular is one of the best I can recall for a season. I found in general that season 2 moved things forward and explained/answered just the perfect amount of things for it to give me full confidence to know what they’re actually doing. Explaining Cold Harbour/what MDR is and shedding light on Gemma’s situation was more than enough.

Performances were great as was the writing and dialogue. It honestly feels like they had a lot more fun with the lines the characters got to deliver this season. Mr. Milchick was maybe my favourite character this season and Tramell Tillman’s performance really stood out.

Honestly I feel like I’m kinda preaching to the choir here, but I just watched the finale and I had to get it off my chest cause the discourse online genuinely made it so that the quality of the final episode and overall the season just caught me off guard.
