I haven’t read the Wheel of Time books so I don’t know how true to the material the TV show is. I was a fan of Season 1 and 2. Season 3 feels like it has shifted it’s tone in a bad way. I’m on Episode 2 and it feels campier. It reminds me of the Kevin Sorbo Hercules series. The music also seemed kind of an odd choice. The music as Rand’s group were going home was immersion breaking. Matt feels like he’s gone full clown. Did they hire new writers or is the show going in a different direction? Or is this closer to the book? Because I don’t want to watch a reboot of Hercules.
