I was scrolling through my university community and came across a screenshot… It was an official document which was sent to public school teachers in certain area. The document was about sex education, dos and don’ts. It contained these contents:
- No contents that can cause sexual curiosity or embarrassment among children: (Ex) Usage of condom, drawings of genitalia, male erection
- No contents that focus on sexual rights rather than responsibility and duty
- No contents that advocate/glorify homosexuality and gender (the third gender)
- Schools should hire pro-life educators who can teach about the sanctity of life and proper sexual values - instead of radical educators who teach specific names of genitalia and advocate/glorify free sex, masturbation, birth control, homosexuality, and gender -
I live in South Korea. We’re not a Christian country and it’s actually forbidden to force religious views on children in schools. They’re pushing this outrageous sex education guidelines because of conservatives. Apparently some parents made complaints about ‘liberal sex-ed’…
Not only they’re excluding LGBTQ+ people, they’re also asking for obedience from young girls. No content about free sex, masturbation, and birth control? Responsibility and DUTY instead of sexual rights?? What duty? That they should yes to their men because it’s their sexual duty?
And they’re worried about low marriage/birth rates. They’re blaming women for not having children, saying we’re selfish.
I hate it here.
