I made a few comments about it in the Nebraska/Minnesota game thread, but I am really not a fan of Fox’s new score bug. I don’t think that there’s anything about it that I like. It looks cartoonish and unprofessional. There’s just way too much “script” font.
The touchdown graphic is probably my least favorite aspect of the new design. It’s way too showy and it has the aforementioned script font that I’m tired of seeing. The old graphic was so much simpler yet expressive without being over the top.
You can say that I’m just an old man screaming at the clouds … and you’d probably be right. But I digress.
