Christian had called for help after getting his vehicle stuck on a remote dirt near Silver Plume outside of Denver, CO.

Responding officers can be seen in the body cam footage. (Links to the body cam footage published on lawyer’s website here: (I promise I’m not a corporate shill btw)

Watch “Glass Body Camera 3” and tell me you don’t notice a difference between the first two responding officers. The one aggressive officer is the one mainly doing the talking while the second is literally trying to talk to Christian like a normal person would (even if they’re having a mental episode). You can’t tell me he isn’t the aggressor while the former is communicating with at least a semblance of normalcy or at least trying to calm things (things that shouldn’t have been uncalm to begin with but I digress). Why was the first officer the one needing some talk down from the more level headed one? And it didn’t even work obviously. First guy wasn’t listening whatsoever.

Throughout 4 different videos, it’s easy to tell the first officer causes the initial concern simply by his actions and communication style. He’s literally textbook example of why people are afraid of police. Would you feel safe if the first officer involved was that aggressive? I know I sure as hell wouldn’t. That man needs to be put away as an accessory to murder.

Either way, neither officers were the ones who fired shots - the officer who did arrived less than convicted arrived less than 4 minutes prior to the fatal shots. If law enforcement needs an example of how NOT to handle a situation, this should be required footage. Second officer was communicating *at least somewhat normally (*despite having drawn his taser because of the actions of first - I know I know)

Poor Christian could be literally any one of us; I’m not sure how this makes y’all feel but I sure as hell understand where his anxious response comes from. It is more than understandable; it’s almost visceral. I’d be scared of that first guy too I mean who wouldn’t? If the second (more reasonable) officer was able to talk to him from the beginning, none of this would have happened.

I’m out of energy typing this up but I hope at least one of y’all looks at this and sees the disparity between the first two. The rest of the footage I am sure is even worse. I don’t have 4 hours to watch all the body cam footage but I’m glad this poor excuse of a human was convicted and sentenced to actual prison time for his actions. He deserves to rot. Cops are the biggest gang in America. Glad at least one of these obviously dangerous individuals is off our streets.
