It’s week 1 of college football and a lot of depth charts are out. Even if it’s not official there seems to be a good sense of where players at by this point. Seems like a good time to check in and see where former Colorado players that got (mostly) pushed out by Deion Sanders are doing. I’m guessing there won’t be any more movement in terms of transfers. I’ll track where guys are on depth chart going into this weekend.

Players I won’t be tracking:

  • Recruits (still early can’t tell much)
  • Players that joined and then left (ie Taylor Upshaw)
  • Players that entered the portal before Deion was hired, that being December 03 2022. (So players like Brendan Lewis or Casey Roddick)
  • Non-Scholarship players

Thanks let me know if I missed anybody or if any depth charts came out with surprises. I will probably do a retrospective at the end of the season as well since I think this is an interesting topic. This might just be more of a record keeping for myself tbh.

Kaylin Moore, Jr CB. Playing for Cal, listed as the #2 NB.

Austin Johnson, Jr C. Playing for Purdue, listed as the #2 C. He originally transferred to Charlotte. I think he’s on scholarship, can any Purdue flairs confirm he’s on scholly?

Cole Becker, Jr K. Playing for Utah. I don’t even need to look up if he’s starting or not he is excellent.

Nikko Reed, Jr CB. Playing for Oregon. No Depth chart but sounds like he will start at the Nickel/Star position.

Na’im Rodman, Sr DL. Playing for Wazzu. Listed as second string DT.

Montana Lemonious-Craig, Jr WR. Playing for Arizona No depth chart but seems like he will start.

Jordyn Tyson, So WR. Playing for ASU. Listed as injured but I imagine he will play at lot once he gets fully healthy. Coming off of a serious injury not sure how much he will play this season.
