It’s actually insane. Been stuff like “I’ll fly out for you” and “why are you being stubborn, don’t you love me” and “I want to X your Y” (avoiding graphic nature but you know what I mean). And these people don’t have any idea who I am, many have never even seen my face. For all they know, I’m a spooky old man behind the screen.
But the gusto at which they speak to women they’ve never spoken to just seconds prior is is fascinating and extremely confusing. As if they’ve known you for a long time. As if you owe them attention. How are you going to say you want to fly to meet someone from a profile you’ve only just discovered? Or want desperately to sleep with someone who’s face you don’t even know?
What is causing men to behave like this?
