I realize this is sort of a long shot, since I doubt the data compilation exists, but does anyone know if there is some sort of database that you can search through to identify municipalities that are better suited to your desired way of life?
For example, I have absolutely had it with Connecticut and my particular town. I'm a small business owner and, to be frank, navigating Covid was easier than navigating the town politics and Zoning Commission. I'm looking for places to relocate myself and my business to. So, I'd like to use the database to filter for municipalities "with < 10,000 people", "no property tax", and "minimal building regulations" so that I could then sort by states that do not have income tax or low income tax, and finally possibly find some places to start looking at COL and whether I'd like to live there.
Again, a long shot I know, but I've had it. I'm done. I want out. I just don't know where to leave to.
