Sam LaPorta had a decent sr year with Iowa (58 catches), but on just about any other team he would have had 100+ catches and won the Mackey. I love watching him play for Detroit, but every time I see him catch a pass for the Lions, I can’t help but wonder what he would have been in college with a competent QB and OC. Same thoughts on Kittle (although I believe that was more injury-related in college).
