My boyfriend has point blank always said he won’t do any house hold chores. He’d prefer to be on his laptop making money (he works remotely from his laptop). He says ‘time is money’ to him. But he said will pay for a cleaner (at least that’s something).
But I know a cleaner will only come once a week to Hoover and mop floors etc. I will still be left doing the dishes and laundry etc every day. So I don’t think the cleaner resolves the issue?
I feel frustrated. But whenever I bring up the convo he tells me that’s I have known from day 1 that he won’t do any cleaning, because he’s told me out straight. Which is true. But doesn’t make it any easier.
Should I be ok with doing laundry/dishes if he pays for a cleaner for the rest of the chores (hoovering, mopping etc)??
I love him, and have a great relationship other than the problem with household chores.
