My mom is a hair stylist and her neighbor came to her house for a haircut. She just told me that he had an erection while she was cutting his hair, he grabbed her hand and placed it on his penis to show her. He proceeded to say very inappropriate and violating things to my mom. She ripped her hand away. She feels so violated and betrayed. I texted him and told him to stay away and do not talk to her or else I’ll call the police. She’s working on getting a therapist now. She’s completely in shambles and my heart is broken.

Here’s the even bigger issue… my dad doesn’t know and is good friends with the creep neighbor. My dad is also a hot head and we legit think he will physically harm the neighbor if he finds out. I could see him actually killing him… my dad is going to notice that the neighbor isn’t coming over anymore and I’m afraid the neighbor is going to say something or my dad will put two and two together. My mom and I don’t know what to do. She does not want to involve the police. She feels so awful for not telling my dad but we both agree it will lead to my dad potentially going to jail because this would put him over the edge completely.

I appreciate any and all advice. I recommended maybe getting a therapist asap and bringing my dad and telling him there in a safe space. I am at a loss.
