This story comes from one of my father’s coworkers. She loved camping (as did we!) and often went alone if nobody else wanted to go with her.
One weekend she got to talking with some fellow campers (men), and they casually asked where her site was. She told them she was on Loop C, because she liked the shade there.
Afterwards, she realized that was dumb, if they figured out she was alone. So she moved her tent over to a different loop/site. She had a view of her original site. That evening, the men were walking around with flashlights back and forth on Loop C, whispering loudly “Where is she?”
Good thing she moved sites.
