Most important info:
According to witnesses interviewed by WP SportoweFakty, the young fans approached Komar on Saturday evening and started threatening him. Eventually, the attackers started beating the Puszcza Niepołomice goalkeeper, shouting that it was revenge for the lost barage match. The men started to chase each other around the festival area, eventually the goalkeeper was to be helped by volunteer firefighters.
Kewin Komar went straight from Wiśnicz Mały to the Hospital Emergency Ward in Bochnia. There he met with one of the attackers - who was said to have received a blow from the defending footballer. During a conversation in the hospital corridor, Komar was told that if he reported the beating, the attackers would find him because they knew where he lived. Komar told the doctor that he had hit the wall with his hand.
But when the Puszcza Niepołomice goalkeeper returned to his flat in Bochnia, there were more than a dozen football fans with machetes waiting outside his house. The footballer then called the police.
As of Monday morning, Kewin Komar is undergoing a medical examination. But as we hear at the club, the footballer has a damaged hand and this round is out of the question. Later today the footballer is also expected to report to the police about Saturday’s incidents.
