Let me start by saying I’m not going to spoil anything.
I honestly cannot remember the last time a show had me salivating for it to come on just so I could devour it. My only issue is that I have to wait another week for episode seven.
All the twists and turns this season has exposed me to have been exhilarating, to say the least. From each individual storyline to the dynamics of all the visitors, it’s a treat. My favorite group this time is, hands down, the Ratliff family. Don’t get me wrong this season has a stellar cast, and I like all of them, but the Ratliffs can live in my head rent free. Especially Parker Posey’s character, Victoria something about her saying “lorazepam” makes the world feel sensical to me.
Walton Goggins’ Rick and Amy Lou Wood’s Chelsea also have a great story arc. Some of my loudest laughs came from their interactions with the rest of the party staying at the White Lotus. I still have looming questions about their relationship, especially with Chelsea mentioning that Rick is her soulmate whatever that means. There’s definitely a story there, though whether we’ll be privy to it, I’m not sure.
Honestly, there are so many storylines at play here that I don’t think I can explain all the intricate, nitty gritty details of each one.
I’ll conclude by saying that I haven’t watched anything recently that has kept me on my toes from start to finish of an episode. I started this season for Lisa, but I stayed for Parker Posey.
I also love the new intro song it adds the much needed suspense and sense of eeriness to the whole thing.
