At the moment I could feel the tip of the plastic hoop of my IUD out of my uterus (its not the strings). This has been the 4th time it happened. 1st time, the entire stick was sticking out. 2,3,4, the tip of the plastic hoop is out. Sadly it seems that it’s not ment to be.

I am not in pain, just mad, I have a doctor’s appointment booked to get it removed. I am just done with birthcontrol. I haven’t used diva cups, and tampons when I got my IUD. I did normally have very heavy and extremely painful periods. (if I forget to take ibuprofen on the first few days, I am unable to stand up with out getting light headed) So most likely it could be the reason why my IUD is more likely to dislodge.

I am not sure if I have endometriosis, whenever I ask the gyno if I could possibly see if I do, then she tells me

“Oh if you have an IUD, It would double as treatment if you have endometriosis”

Even if I do find out after a larparoscopy, what options do I have I wonder.

I am sure the IUD does help, for the first 2 months I’ve had a great experience, and it helped lightened my period. If only it doesnt gets dislodged after a few months. I have no idea, I do remember having an episode of crippling pain where I couldn’t sit up and work, and I have to lay down, maybe that’s when it gets dislodged? Not sure what my body does. After that I haven’t experienced that sort of pain.

After the 3rd IUD, I think I should’ve went with something (or nothing) different instead of hoping it would stay in. When I had my 3rd IUD removed, a different Gyno told me I have a retroverted Uterus, I never knew that was a thing and my first gyno never told me.

I really like having an IUD over taking Birth Control. I’ve never felt better vs when I took Birth Control pills. ( I have used a 90 day pack, and a generic month to month brand, can’t remember the brands)

I use to take the pills for years and it screws with my brain I feel. I use to be more irritable, anxious and touchy during that time.

I started taking the pills throughout high-school until I was 23, because I wasn’t in a relationship while I was attending college. Then I started birthcontrol when I was getting into a relationship at 25.

I think I am just done with birthcontrol. I am going to be 28 this year and I am tired of it. I’ve been trying to make it successful for the past 3 years.
