Im curious if anyone here has any data, or even just anecdotal articles, on how many people have died in police custody that weren’t resisting arrest.
I got into a discussion with a friend and he seemed to think that most of the issues were the fault of the victim that was killed, which in some cases that’s true, but he just wouldn’t believe me when I told him that sometimes people die even when being compliant.
I’m just wondering if anyone here has any data on that or am I crazy for thinking it’s more of an issue than it really is.
