As a league that has been home to some of the best quarterbacks ever, the 2023 season in the Pac-12 appears to be, on paper, one of the best the groups of quarterbacks the league has seen.
- Caleb Williams (5* recruit, Heisman winner, single season USC passing yards and TD record, projected 1st overall NFL pick)
- Bo Nix (5* recruit, projected 1st round pick, UO single season accuracy record)
- Michael Penix (projected 1st round pick, UW single season passing record)
- Cam Rising (2x conference champ)
- DJ Uiagalelei (5* recruit, No. 2 overall HS prospect)
- Shedeur Sanders (4* recruit)
2011 was another group that was impressive and could have a claim too.
- Andrew Luck (5* recruit, 2x Heisman runner-up, conference champ, 1st overall NFL pick)
- Darron Thomas (4* recruit, 2x conference champ)
- Matt Barkley (5* recruit, No. 1 overall HS prospect, 4th round pick, at least 10-year NFL career, USC all-time passing leader)
- Sean Mannion (4* recruit, 3rd round pick, at least 8-year NFL career, OSU all-time passing leader)
- Nick Foles (3rd round pick, Super Bowl MVP, at least 11-year NFL career, UA all-time passing leader)
- Brock Osweiler (2nd round pick, 6-year NFL career)
Hindsight will of course have the final say on all this, but the 2023 group seems pretty great heading into this upcoming season.
