A comment on the post about paying for vehicle property taxes got me to thinking it'd be useful to pool together the subs collective knowledge and make a list of ways you can protest against government overstep and ridiculous taxes without painting a target on your back (or, if you wish painting the target, it's up to you).
For example one user mentioned registering an LLC in Wyoming, a less taxed state, and registering the vehicle there therefore avoiding stupid property taxes on his state. The best thing about a method such as this is that is within the confines of the government's rules, and they can't go after the user for doing so. (or at least they're not supposed to).
