Now that Caleb Williams has been announced as the new Dr. Pepper QB of the year, I want to introduce a post that will likely be deleted by a mod, but I can link to at the end of the season…
Fact: before Dr. Pepper sponsored DJU, he had a 67% conpletetion percentage, 5 TD, zero picks, with 7.8 yards an attempt. After his first commerical, he had 56%, 6 yards an attempt, and 9 TD to 10 picks(lol)
Next year Bryce Young. Pre DP, Heisman winner, National Championship runner-up, 67% completion percentage, almost 9 yards an attempt, 47 TDs to 7 picks. After DP, did not win the Heisman, didn’t even qualify for the SEC Championship game, 65% completion against worst competition, just 32 touchdowns, 5 picks, slight drop in yards per attempt as well.
Should also be noted, that DJU improved the year after he was no longer sponsored by Dr pepper.
So I end my shit by saying sorry Caleb.
