Seriously, what’s wrong with Daredevil: Born Again? The reason Daredevil was so successful, in my opinion, was that it felt grounded and real. Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, never seemed far from us—he wasn’t some superhuman with insane strength, just a highly trained fighter with heightened senses.
But come on… seeing him swing for the first time felt really off. And don’t get me started on that bar fight sequence…the CGI was straight-up sloppy. It feels like they wanted to recreate the long, single-take fight scenes from the original show, but instead of practical choreography, they relied on some weird CGI and stitched-together shots. The whole sequence ended up looking cheap rather than impactful.
I really hope the show doesn’t lose what made Daredevil special in the first place.
