Posting here since the invincible sub has crazy rules
I’ve had friends rave about this show for years and I’ve binged it over the past couple days, (I’m on S3 E5 fight now so not quite caught up). And while I like it overall, imo the insane plot armor every single character will in my mind always prevent this show from being great. It seems that every single death in the show outside the very first episode has had no meaning, and every character basically instantly comes back to life. I know this is a trope with superhero stuff in general, but it has weakened the emotional impact of everything that happens on this show for me. Seriously, it seems basically every character in the show (or the very least every “good guy”) is completely indestructible, and the death “fake-outs” have become extremely lame to me, since I know every time something that’s supposed to be emotionally heavy happens, it’s reversed within a couple episodes.
Just ranting, I know people probably won’t like my opinion because the show is so popular, but thought I’d share since I’ve invested a lot of time in this show the last couple days.
