    They are famous and highly influential to a certain subset of young people, specifically male incels. Because of how popular they are, and how controversial/destructive some of their messaging is, most folks who are aware of them are mad that they were allowed to travel into the States, and there are rumors that Trump has or will soon do something to protect them such as grant them asylum.
