I am in this situation right now. There are so many emotions going on right now: hope for the future, worry for the kids, worry about all of the damn practical and financial issues, grief about the dream that didn’t come true, and so on.
And on top of it all: Knowing that I stayed for years when I clearly shouldn’t have gotten involved in the first place. I am having a hard time with that.
Have you had any experience with this, and how did you deal?
