Usually I lose interest after a while or get annoyed by woke bs. But the dumbest shit I have been watching gotta be: Severance. I ask myself: Why the fuck did I waste my time on this? I guess I’ve been expecting some sort of big disclosure. These class actors can’t save this banality. Starting S2 it’s apparent that this show is just plain dumb. All looks and contrived “mystery”. Hollywood desperately trying to be profound ending up failing flat. Ben fucking Stiller is as crap a producer as he’s an actor. To be honest the last couple of episodes I just watched to see the attractive redhead… (I got a thing for redheads 😂). I love sc-fi but Jesus.
The same thing is happened with a series of Apple shows; For all mankind, Foundation, Sunny, they’re either getting boring or unwatchable after a while. What do you think?
Of course Apple do offer some really great shows. The Dune series is remarkable. White Lotus, House of the dragons — great! Slow horses — truly enjoyable. I was wondering what the general consensus is on the big streaming platforms. Apple TV vs Netflix. Do you prefer the latter? MAX ain’t too shabby either.
