(⚠️ Some of this is grossly detailed and personal just a warning) So recently i (f21) lost my virginity to my boyfriend (m21) but i’m not really sure if i count it, because we could barely get it in and we didnt finish all the way because of my hymen and general tightness. We used lube and did plenty of foreplay but it couldnt go in further without it hurting. Ever since then he doesnt want to do it with me again. Even when we tried again at some point he couldnt stay hard because he was scared of hurting me. He said he doesnt want to do it with me again until we take care of my hymen problem. I dont want to just force it in and rip it, im terrified of that pain.
My hymen is also an issue when it comes to tampons. I have a septate hymen, so the band of skin splits my hole down the middle. When i put tampons in i have to make sure they go in the left side of the hole otherwise i wont be able to pull it out again, but even so, i have to physically move my hymen out of the way while taking tampons out because it gets caught on my hymen. It’s gross and i hate doing that (i refuse to wear pads)
So i was thinking if i could call a gynecologist and ask them if they can cut it off or something? I dont know if they do that kind of thing but im too embarrassed to ask someone irl or over the phone so id rather do it anonymously online. Does anyone have have advice? My boyfriend went from being hypersexual to barely sexual at all towards me and it’s making me incredibly insecure.
