I will never forget watching the series premier of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which aired 20 years ago today! It feels like only yesterday; I cannot believe it has been 20 years! I was immediately hooked, and I’m still hooked.
From that day forward, it was always a scramble to press REC on our VCR whenever a new episode was airing, so that I could go back and watch ATLA whenever I wanted to. As a matter of fact, I still have the tapes!
The bending, the action, the lovable characters, their rich stories and character arcs, valuable life lessons: this show has it all.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is and will forever remain my favorite show of all time.
