My girlfriend, who works at a law firm, was attending to an important client for the office. The client is a friend of the owner.

There were 3 people at the table: she, this client, and another person. While she was assisting the other person with some documents, she noticed that the other guy aimed his cellphone directly at her.

This movement was for a brief period of time. He took advantage of her not paying attention and likely took a photo. She didn’t do anything at the moment. And she’s almost certain that he took a photo of her.

But when she told me about it, I’m not sure if I reacted in the best way. I want to make it clear that I support her. And I’m definitely not in favor of this type of behavior. But I feel like I didn’t react strongly enough when she told me.

What would you say in a situation like this? How would you advise her in this case?
