Re-watching this and in season 2 they went through 3 public defenders in as many episodes.
Sharon Barr episode 1 kind of killed it. I thought the no nonsense persona was funny and matched Dan Fielding punch for punch. Was sad to see her only lasted 1 season. Episode 2 they introduce Markie Post and we all know her track record but episode 3 they get another actress. Why did they rotate so many actors in this role? Season one they also replaced the actress who was in the pilot.
Be, I was floored to learn Sharon Barr was only 23 at the time. She looked much more seasoned. Any relation to Rosanne? If I had to guess a celebrity sibling I would have picked Sandra burnhard.
