Seriously, rewatching it for the like 10th time, I’m flabbergasted at how many new jokes I’m discovering in the show. Like shit that completely flew over my head the first… nine times? I watched the show.
Every single line is so well written and they’re so efficient with the comedy - almost every single sentence is a joke, setting up a joke, or a callback from a previous episode
The only show that has ever even come close to this level of comedic wit is the first 6 or so seasons of The Simpsons imo. Maaaaybe Veep, but that’s not really a pure comedy. Any other contenders?
