I’ve been at a new job since April and it’s become apparent that one of my colleagues has it out for me. Initially he pretended to be intrigued by my products and then it escalated to him sending flowers to me at work, leaving his number, cornering me in elevators to hold conversations. I’ve turned him down multiple times. It’s just been… a lot.

I will say that I don’t have any faith in HR and I know they are only there to protect companies, but one would think that they would at least take sexual harassment and borderline stalking seriously?

I’m starting to learn that if the person is of great value and has history with the company, they’re allowed to get away with a slap on the wrist when it comes to mistreating other people. He was basically transferred but still comes around me.

This isn’t the first time that I had to report something like this, with basically the same results.
