I’m straight and sexually submissive. There was a post here yesterday (?) about a woman being with a kinky man and the comments absolutely went off about how much of a red flag it is for a man to be into any type of sexually aggresive or degrading behaviour. The post was kind of confusing due to language issues, but it seemed like a could go either way situation resulting from bad communication. It really made me feel bad to think that people would think that my partner is some raging misogynist and future abuser when we are engaging in consensual BDSM. If I want to be spanked hard and pushed around does that make me a bad feminist? I would obviously never tolerate such behaviour in our normal lives. Would these people react the same way if a man wanted a domme? Would he be advised to run away?
