Original Title: Many say that Hollywood is creatively bankrupt and only focusing on remakes and sequels. So what would you guys think of a sci-fi TV show with this concept: every season all the actors are recast but the characters and storylines remain the same.
Basically, it’s a sci-fi show where people are trapped in a simulation that changes their avatars every so often, but their memories remain. And they’re trying to find a way out.
It would be like the reverse of American Horror Story. In that anthology show, each season is its own story, but the characters are usually played by the same actors.
But in my concept, each season continues the story, but the characters are played by completely different actors.
I know Altered Carbon did something similar when they replaced Joel Kinnaman with Anthony Mackie, but that was just the main character. I’m talking about replacing every single actor each season.
