So the announcement of the Buffy sequel being close to a pilot order has got me curious about how long it usually takes for a pilot to get ordered and how long it is going to take for this show in this instance. Like, how much planning and timing usually goes into a pilot episode and what sort of hiccups one can expect? Remember, this one is “close” to being ordered but it hasn’t happened yet. I imagine it being an effects heavy show is gonna be a factor.
