I was just watching the final episode of “Masters of the Air”, and about 42’ in , there is a scene where Croz and the recently returned Rosie are talking in front of a fireplace in the officer’s club. The mantelpiece has a large ceramic mug on it in the shape of a masked man’s face.
If memory serves, there was a mug like that (called a “Toby”) in the movie “Twelve O’Clock High” starring Gregory Peck. In the movie, the Toby is turned facing the wall when a mission is to take place the following day, and turned back facing the room at the end of the mission. It’s a fantastic movie, btw.
Maybe it was there in earlier episodes, but I just noticed it. Really cool to see that!
