I feel like a lot of the creative stuff MTV was doing back then gets overlooked these days. The Head, The State, Daria, and The Maxx were all really good shows for that era that would probably hold up as well as anything else today. The State had the benefit of being able to use current MTV music in their show and any DVD collections had to change it, it just isn’t the same without it unfortunately. Dead at 21 was also interesting, but didn’t last, unfortunately. The two big ones that everyone seems to remember were Beavis and Butthead and Liquid Television/Neon Flux, but there was so much more than those going on at the time. I’m probably missing tons, please help me remember them!
