The usage of the son and daughter feels like Showtime shows where the main guy has family unit to me, and I think the aesthetic and acting style is close enough. I think I find Landman more watchable because of them riffing in a bar or by a pool or something allowing long stretches of episode to go by without forcing the plot as much, like Showtime shows where they don’t know what to do with the wife/ex wife, their usage of Larter and weaving her in around the other characters seems more natural so far.
Of course Showtime and Paramount+ are connected so I guess it makes sense, but I didn’t get this vibe as much from Yellowstone.
