I’m sorry if this is a dumb or common question but I promise I looked for the answer and couldn’t find one–probably because I barely know how to word it. But my question is, why are sitcoms always filmed from the same side and never filmed from the other one, especially now that a lot of them don’t even have live audiences?
Think about the show ‘friends’ for instance. You know in Monica’s apartment, where her big window is? Why are sitcoms never filmed with the camera set up there to shoot from that POV instead of being set up to shoot from the other side? I hope you know what Im saying haha I’m having a brain blockage that wont let me come up with any better words right now.
