This was an old arguement me and my former Brother-In-Law used to have back in the Southern Cal heyday.

Southern Cal would destroy everyone with Bush & Leinart & all their studs… but inevitably they’d lose a game to someone like Cal in a season where Cal had only 3 wins…

MEANWHILE, UGA would be having a good year… it would be time for the big game against Bama or Florida or whoever… and we’d crap the bed.

Both teams theoretically go 11-1… which is a more tragic loss… the one you had no business losing, or the one where you got shown up?
