What is with the lazy product placement/political statements?
I really enjoy the shows, but he tends to have political rants/guests/product placement that is… Less than subtle. They seem to have nothing to do with the plot and frequently feel way out of place for the character giving it. Like in landman, we are supposed to believe the college footballer doesn’t know what the word abstinence means, but knows all about the methane output of battery factories compared to cows on feed lots? And that topic was totally irrelevant. For such good shows, it really seems lazy.
Am I alone in this thought?
