I think to make the perfect TV finale, you have to bring in elements from all the past seasons, and give a sense of closure to them all. For example, Mr. Robot did the same thing, and it changed the viewers perception on the entire series. Unfortunately, Dexter couldn’t even do this one simple task which had me wondering what the showrunners were thinking.
