They got rid of some of the most popular supporting characters like Mrs Krabapple, Apu and Maude Flanders.
Marge Simpson sounds like she’s hoarse after she got strangled, Homer’s voice has also changed. Even Bart sounds different. Only Lisa’s voice sounds the same (which could explain why Lisa suddenly started having more lead story arcs than everyone in the family except Homer).
The jokes have grown stale (do we need to see Homer cry like a lil girl every season?), the animation is distractingly different, the celebrity guests are a waste and some feel like stunt casting.
Show should have ended when the movie came out. Now, it’s just sad. The ratings don’t justify this.
I’d rather they end The Simpsons and Matt Groening created a new show. Futurama was a solid TV show that should have gained more attention.
