Is there a reason that shows have gotten progressively dark lighting wise? I’ve been watching Silo and there are parts of the show that I can barely see anything unless I’m watching it in effectively pitch black, game of thrones and house of the dragon did the same thing I feel like. I know they want it to be real and the darkness would be real where the characters are but if the viewer needs to be in a movie theater setting to see what’s happening, doesn’t that defeat the whole point of a show?
